When you become a member of Bayside Community Church,
we want you to feel that you've COME HOME!!
Welcome to Bayside Community Church

I’m Pastor Bob. I am an Eastern Shore native who was born and raised in Parksley, VA. My wife is Tammy and together we have 3 children, Dusty gained his eternal reward 19 years ago Gracie is 24 and Abigail is 22. As a family, we love the Lord!

I came to know Jesus as my Savior when I was 33 years old. When God walked me down the aisle of that small Baptist church, He put a life verse on my heart. Joshua 24:15 tells in part, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” I can’t think of a better life verse. If I am going to serve Him, I want to serve Him with my whole heart!

As a church, we are committed to the person of Jesus Christ, and we base our teaching upon the revealed word of God. It is our desire that people come to place their trust in Christ to forgive them and lead them, and that they grow in their relationship with him.

We are a contemporary, Jesus loving, jeans wearing kind of church! We feel God is doing extraordinary things among (extra)ordinary people and we would love to see you be a part!
Come visit us Sundays at 10:00!

Blessings,
Pastor Bob

Bayside Community Church is a church which not only meets on Sundays for the purpose of celebrating our Lord and Savior, but also during the week in various homes (Pier Groups) for the purpose of Christ-centered worship, edification of its members, relational evangelism, and discipleship with the goal of multiplication.

Bayside’s Youth Groot is open to all youth in grades 6 – 12. We meet on Tuesday evenings at 6-8 p.m. at the Red Garage on the corner of 4th & Maple Street in Pocomoke City. Join us in fellowship as we grow in Christ.

Bayside’s Youth Leader is Gina Dean. All Volunteers 18 and older working with youth are Ministry Safe certified and background checked.

Please join us for Scion Kids Church. A scion is a shoot or a twig of a plant that is used for grafting or rooting. We chose the name "Scion Kids" because we believe that we are taking our young children and developing their roots deep in Christ. At Scion, we teach that accepting Jesus as our Savior is the only way to heaven and that it is our responsibility, no matter our age, to further the growth of the Kingdom. We love studying the word of our Lord through biblical teachings and hands-on learning. For example we have done a series on Donuts and Disciples, because life without Jesus is like a donut without sprinkles (NOT HAPPY!) Our volunteers are all ministry safe certified. We meet each Sunday K- through 5th grade during worship service
